What a great song, why it only hit #28 on the charts is anybody's guess. Any rock n' roll song that features a TUBA should have gone to #1. !!!

How could you NOT LIKE this song???? Thanks, dowopper!!!!!!!! I don't think I knew Dancing on the Moon was the flip side. It got pretty decent air play in motown as i recall. But i much preferred this totally catchy song.

This song was co-written by comedian Sandy Baron..he played the part of Jack Klompus on the Seinfeld show. Sandy also wrote "Sunny" for Bobby Hebb and "Natural Man" for Lou Rawls. Very talented man.

One of my all time favorites. i can still remember dancingto this one on American Bandstand. A great jitterbug song. Why didn't Trade have more hits? He was great.

I was 15 going on 16 in 62, one of the best years of my life. Everything was exciting: music, girls, a great high school, getting my license, lots and lots of attitude, the whole world before me, and hopelessly naive about things that were just starting to emerge as important to me personally like the war in nam and fighting racism.

I hear ya! In 62 I was 11, Dion & Carlo were my idols. They had broken up, I'll never forget the day it was on the radio. Anyway, this was like a Dion Carlo song to me. You talk about hopelessly naive. I always hung with many friends. I'll never forget the day my freinds brother said he saw Dion & Belmonts at Madison & Dion was strung out on dope. I said what? Airplane paint? I was 16 when he said this, I had no idea what dope was. These were the good years when the sh-t was still in the closets
