Here we go again! This time the Fulltone Ultimate Octave is not used. :( Same "Texas Blues" configuration which is basically a clean setting except the boost is turned up. The volume is way down while in the 8 watt mode to insure the camcorder can handle it. The swamp ash Warmoth guitar is using the middle Seymour Duncan SVR-1n together with the neck Seymour Duncan '59 in split mode.

  • The Amp is terrible...I gave mine away.

  • I've had a Black Pearl head for a few months now. I bought my first amp in 1962 and have owned many. This is the best sounding of all in my opinion. I like the 8 watt option for playing at home. The 4/8/16Ω ouput switch is nice too.

  • K...thanks.

  • It has a tube rectifier.

  • Good demo,thanks.

I like that you panned up close so we could see the amp better.

I so want one of these.I must sell almost everything I have to get one but hey,it has everything I want in an amp...single channel with boost switch, reverb, alnico speaker, quality cabinet,Vox type tones(among other)

My only question is whether it has a tube rectifier or tube rectifier simulation (like the Vox ac15cc amps have)

  • I gots me some serious GAS.
