Battletoads (created by Rare) for the Nintendo Entertainment System is famous (or perhaps even notorious) for being one of the most frustratingly difficult video games ever made. This action platformer / beat-em'up is great fun nonetheless.

@TequilaAssassin4eva I'm a girl, and I used to get thru the speed bike part when I was 10 or 11. I imagine I could still do it if I had a NES still. lol

i remember when i was a kid no1 could do the speed bike part but me so when ever some1 got up to that part they would hand me the control pad hehe

This game was so hard I probably still would have lost on level 3 if I could have WALKED.

This was so fun. I remember going past this and saying '''wtf was that''. Truly one of the most hardest games ever. And fun. :)
