This "etiquette" is nothing more than fear of social awkwardness. You just got laid, why do you need to go about hinting? Who cares. Fuck 'em, wait, just did that. For instance, I always ask if they want my number. No, I don't just quietly leave it by the bed side, maybe it would get confused with someone else's. Second, if they walk towards the shower, I ask if they want company, if they tell me to fuck off, while they're in the shower, I wipe myself off on their curtains before I leave.
