This is useful for those who go to Google first. That happens to be about 90 percent of the student population and many of the faculty also.

This may be a good way to back people in to the Library's services.

Also, better than paying 12 grand for a federated search tool that won't work as well.

Nice to know, but I'm unsure what the advantage is of using Google to search JSTOR. There is a search facility in JSTOR. Also, in my experience, you could only use google in this way if you're already logged into JSTOR, probably from a university computer. You can't leap into JSTOR from Google without logging in.
