You can see propaganda in every country, even in mine (South Korea), there are anti-North Korea posters here in Gwangju, there are kindergartens here where the the teachers even learn the children the concept of Japanophobia to incite hatred on Japan, you can't call that propaganda and I've seen the same things when I was in the US, yes your right the ppl employed Hu to do his job, but I don't see he's all that bad.

I see you are American or immigrant there. So it is easy for you to grumble about those of us who complain about totalitarianism, you dont have to suffer the affects of it, neither are you at risk of inprisonment for disaggreeing with Mr Obama. Of course you can listen to everything he has to say, whereas in China his speach on TV was so sensored by our government that it seemed unreal. That is Maoism for you: Remember Mr Mao instructed his polit Bureau to strictly control state news.

I think you will find that the majority of us who have been braught up in China have been so exposed to the communist and Maoist doctrine that we have become unaware of the affect that is has on us. Professor Lam of NJU wrote about this in 1978 which is why he and his entire family were exocuted. HOw many times have you heard the term "our leader" being used in referance to Chinese heads of state? Today for instance it appears 17 times in just 1 Jinan newspaper. He's not my leader.

Ok, just to let you know, I pick radomnly the country where I live in. In real, I live in Gwangju, South Korea and I'm half Chinese and half Korean, you don't have to talk as if I don't know how to live in a totalitarian country, South Korea was under a totalitarian regime until 1997 when it finnaly Democratized, but South Korea was a developed country by then, I heard Obama's speech was censored yes (which was stupid), but not all of it.

Sensorship of any kind is a srime against human dignity. Coming from where you do, you must have heard of the Gwangju massacre. So many of your fellow sitizens injured and killed in the name of free speach amongst other things.
And you support extreme nationalism? WOW!
