@QUANTUMJOKER Look, it's not CHRIST or RELIGION it's the literal sense of SAVING and he helped the patients. To quote prot, "Every being in the universe is capable of curing themselves". He's helping people in ways that he sees this hospital clearly can't. He cured the obsessive compulsive with the glasses and he in turn cured the germaphobe. He is SAVING people. He is a LITERAL savior, not a CHRISTIAN savior.

@the8lbfish spoiler alert: at the end they basicly try to make it that the guy is human after all> QJ's next follow up explains why this isnt so, but the haphazard put in that he is human at all, made the film something that it wasnt.

I'm sorry - are you pointing out some sort of religious metaphor? I saw no evidence of Prot as a Christ-like figure, if that's what you mean.
