  • High definition master exists in the vault.

  • Let's not beat around the bush here, people... Carlock is destroying the world with this groove. He sounds characteristically ferocious and that snare is putting the fire under it all. Numero uno, kiddies.

  • Carlock is definitely qualified to do steely covers! Young sounds better than Fagen

  • God, I love this Jeff Young guy. Fantastic.

  • Carlock is pure class, a once-in-a-generation musician. Lovely soulful stuff from Jeff Young, would LOVE to have been at this gig!!

  • Nice!

  • great

  • good purdie shuffle

  • exactspace must only play in studio or rooms with carpet flooring

  • it sounds too loud because high frequencies are easier to be picked up by the microphone of the camera or video recorder. notice low frequencies like bass lines and kicks are not as loud. i think that is the reason. i am pretty sure that keith carlock knows the eq for live performances.

  • No it's not just you :-) The hi-hat and snare are definitely different than what Purdie played. Dennis Chambers has Zildjian Day 2008 videos on YouTube, which are very similar to what Keith is doing here. Keith's left-hand ghosting (on the snare), is other-worldly to watch "up close". I told him that he could do a 60-minute DVD of just that, and drummers would need to by a new DVD player every month :-)
