Merging technology with human beings isn't bad. Heck, people who have prosthetic limbs are examples of transhumanism. The problem rises when the people who try to manage it is the problem. If society continues as it does, then we will have no free will. We are even slaves today and most don't realize it, we're enslaved to our jobs and to money. We need to change society before we let new technologies emerge. It's not technology, its the people who use it. A hammer can build, and it also can hurt

Ephesians 2:14 - His purpose was to create in himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace, and in this one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility. Romans 8:9 -- "And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ." Hebrews 12:14 - "Without holiness no one will see the Lord."
