if the plate open or blocked is that effect on the hp or torque?

I'd imagine so, but not drastically. It'comes with a closed, 1/2, 3/4 and wide open plate. I have the 3/4 in it. It almost acts like a cut out.

Just curious... I have an 02 WS6 and have been thinking about buying this same system... how is the noise in the car? do you get a droning noise when cruising at interstate speeds?

@RedMaple02WS6TA I have an 01 WS6 with the Borla Crossover system, it's actually very subtle sounding inside of the car. But if you open up the plate it will get LOUD both inside and out.

@SpachZ28 the borla catback has a plate to adjust where you want the exhaust to go through. either straight out or through the muffler.

thanks... that's been my biggest concern is I'll want to shoot myself after a decent car trip due to the incessant noise. around town I could deal with it. I like hearing the car when I move through the gears.
