I'm not sure but, in the game there is more than enough evidence about this. Sanctus(His Holiness) even says to Dante: "You did not expect a decendant of the blood of Sparda", And if that isnt enough he tells nero: "you have indeed inhereted the blood of Sparta." I guess virgil had enough time to fuck before he was converged. :P

in an interview with one of the DMC creators he does state that Nero is indeed vergils son hence the blood of Sparda, devil trigger resemblance, and ability to control yamato

my opinion on the whole nero theory is based on two of my own theories. how each are linked i dont remember but heres the first. I think nero is really a demon, he never reacted throughout the entire game like "wtf with my arm!?" and his arm for some reason is like that all permanent. theory two sparda does all these weird rituals to seal his power within the demon realm and closing off hellgates, nero could fall in line somewhere in there which explains his strange power.

Also at the end you can tell that Dante is like "I dont want to get involved two gun totein chicks are asking my opinon fuck this" reads his porn mag

U could just tell nero was pissed about them interupting them I know i would be I would do far worse then just kill them Id do by shooting them in the head and using their bodies as wrecking balls on the others and any other way I could have my twisted fun with the demons who interupted me from my heroic reward which is what nero should get after all Dante lives with trish so you know hes gettin some why cant nero

Wall of text lol but hell, capcom dont explain shit in their games. Vergil could have been leading Nero away from a life of sadness and corruption like himself. Sanctus said he has the blood of sparda so maybe Vergil has symphony for Nero and entered his arm.

Oh and maybe if Nero couldn't protect Kyrie, he would have the same sadness in him as Vergil did when he couldnt protect his mother.

Oh and by the way, when Vergil says "Power I need more power" nero replys back "Ill take that too then" and he wakes up

And Vergil pretty much asks him in a way what he desires. Nero doesnt answer but he asks the same question back to Vergil. And Vergil replys 'Power,I need more power"when he had this dream the first time that could have been when his arm changed and when Vergils power was given to him.But capcom are the masters at not explaining ANYTHING about thats important about the characters. So no big deal lol. Hopefully this cleared some stuff up for you about nero.Hopefully Dmc 5 will clear it ALL up
