You don't have a Boston accent. You can only learn it by moving up there

My advice to you is just to keep in your mind "be the sheep". Just keep focusing on that, and you should be fine.

I'm in the process of learning a Boston accent for a show I'm in. And the way you guys explain the "a" pronunciation is confusing. If I were to say can't and bath like the "a" in Father I would sound British. I'm thinking that maybe you're Boston accent is so hard core that you don't know how to say Father in a standard American accent. That or I need to hear it. Is there anyway you can explain this better. I'd totally appreciate it.

One thing I think is hilarious is that while everyone focuses on how Bostonian drop the 'r', they forget about how it ends up in places it doesn't belong.
Example: 'Idear' <-- I always hear south shore folks say that, it makes me lol.
