  • "Amendment 48 is based on a lot of medical science...."

Are you joking? This is an emotionally derived religious amendment that would prevent women from accessing many forms of birth control, all based on the untenable (both legally and morally) belief that a fertilized egg has the same constitutional rights as a patient.

No amendment should stop a woman from using contraception or controlling her own future!

  • What a nutjob.

  • @javy150 I am pro-life i am against the death penalty never wanted this war and wishes that my husband could come home and be with our family, can't stand Chinas law about forced abortion and in most cases there in no medical reason for the abortion. Incest rape and health fine. One night stand not ok

  • @Jonfonya smoking cause so many issues take a "real" person who has asthma if it is bad enough then being around someone who smokes can kill them. Also, if a pregnant woman is smoking or around smoke then it lowers the resperation rate of herself along with the fetus, embryo, clump of cells or whatever other dehumanising terms you care to use. Also, it lowers the heart rate of said fetus etc along with the mothers so in effect not only is she hurting herself but that of a future person.

  • Wow ! ! ! I am late on knowing all of this. You have opened my eyes here. Thank you ! : )

  • Dr. Edwin Vieira, Jr. writes: "The underlying premise in the arguments pro-abortionists give against fetal personhood is that non-persons can change into persons. They are saying that a living being can undergo a radical, essential change in its nature during its lifetime. But there is a logical problem here. If the change was biologically inevitable from conception, given time, then this change is not a change in essential nature. This is because if the being naturally initiates the change,

  • It must be in its nature from the beginning to do so. If it is in its nature to do so, then despite any changes in such characteristics as independence, place of residence, physical development, or demonstration of mental ability, what the being is in later life is what the being is from the beginning of its life. This means that if we are persons with the right to be free from aggression later in life, we are persons even at conception." "A False Assumption," Libertarians for Life,

  • LOL!!!! This is the funniest thing to happen to me: I was getting frustrated because I couldn't find a "real interview" with Kristi Burton. I would watch one video, assume it was a parody, then watch another, yet another parody, and then another, and alas, another parody... and yet no, NOT A PARODY AT ALL! None of those videos were parodies. Kristy Burton just sounds like a parody of a real person!!! LOL!

  • This is great! Ever notice how those who are fighting abortion are usually the ones who want to use it as birth-control. The rare cases of the mother's life in danger, rape, or situations where it is not birth control are still clearly able to be performed. It is the voice of those who are not able to speak, the unborn who need to have their rights protected! Save the babies!

  • Women 8.5 months pregnant shouldn't take the risk of driving. Driving is much more deadly than smoking a cigarette, or drink alcohol, two things far less risky than driving, mothers do not do because of their risks for the fetus. If you are passionate about this issue, ban pregnant woman from driving.

  • I would have a little more respect for "prolife" wackos if at least they were consistent. I bet this girl is pro death penalty, pro illegal war in Arabic nations, is cool with the Chinese government's forced abortion policies and does not see abortion clinic bombers as terrorists. At least Pro Choice people are consistent; they believe abortion should be neither forced nor denied, but a woman's personal health decision.

  • what a CRAZY concept...we are HUMAN when we become HUMAN...hmmm Brilliant. 48 is common sense. anyone voting NO are murderers
