Ragtime fingerstyle expert Andy Cohen performs Scott Joplin's "Slow Drag," also called "Cincinnati Flow Rag." He is playing a Thurman Soundport Guitar (U.S. Patent #5, 952,591)for volume and clarity. He was in Kent, Ohio to perform at the Kent Stage this Friday, Sept. 15. More info on the guitar at rogerthurman.com. Find out about Andy at riverlark.com. Sorry for the noise but there is some construction in the background.

  • @Mark, way I heard it is that the Rev took a theme form a Joplin tune and expanded it into this rag. Everybody's right.

  • I used to take lessons from Andy. WOOO!

  • I am surprised that the author wuld make such a big error. This song belongs to

Rev Gary Davis and NOT Scot Joplin.

  • Awesome song, i am going to play it . By ear....lol.... where can I get tablature???

  • Great job on this tune; and I love your cat audience. Our cats run when they see the guitar, even before I play!
