I read that the white dress/long black hair combo became the way of representing Onryo in Kabuki plays. Before then, I think Onryo were usually shown wearing white burial kimonos.
Also, in some stories Onryo go batshit on society in general, not just the people who wronged them while they were alive.
Found this by searching "Yurei". Cool slow-mo and music :)

@KozakuraHara Depends. the Kimono isnt needed, aslong as it's a dress, better if it's white. and there's not time for haunting ...

well you had a good choice of music. i will say that. and like others said, very good affects. but what would have been better was if we could hear the people talking and not just music. and the moon scene was very well done. you should try to make more, but with a story line we can understand. good job!!

PLEASE MAKE MORE MORE AND MORE :D:D
Well.. .If you knew anything about Yurei you would know that the legend says that they allways have long black hair, white kimono, and walk funny like.
The legend says they come and haunt aroud 00h00 to 3h00 I think or something like that. And they don't haunt who they want. They haunt people for a raison, they don't pick someone out like that....
