The Burton Cotton Gin is at www.cottonginmuseum.org... The 1925 Bessemer engine was cranked up for our car club visit.

Where is this gin located? Was this a special event or does it run every year? I'd like to see it. I have photos of my late grandfather's gin from this era, complete w/horse-drawn wagons lined up & waiting to unload.

yeah got an old steam engine in the yard and i build reids for a livin and put a bessemert on my motorcycle and a couple reids and a buzzcoil. by gobert mcreid.

My Grandfather cast the heads (or earlier sets). Beaumier Iron Works, Brenham, Texas.
