Her voice on this is absolutely amazing. I was never that big of a Tarja fan despite always knowing how powerful her voice is... but this is undeniable.

I love Tarja, but I prefer the Latin lyrics over the German, they flow smoother I think. Still beautiful though.

Wow, Tarja has had many songs that have been absolutely beautiful, but this one just takes the cake. I've heard a few different versions of Ave Maria, from the Italian to the German, and I have to say that this is by far the best version I have heard so far. Yes, for those of you that don't believe it, this is Tarja and it is in German.

For myself though, Shubert's Ave Maria is towards the bottom of my list.
