It surely is not the Iphone but it responds better than you think. If you notice when it won't scroll it is because there is nothing to scroll to, notice the scroll bar on the side. I think he just isn't familiar with the UI

I can tell already that the touch controls aren't as good as the iphone and I don't even need to test it. It looks unresponsive sometimes and jerks through the motions. Such high hopes dashed.
