  • Hi everyone, I have a chondromalacia on both of my knees and I had an injection of PRP last January 19, 2012 on both knees. It's been 13 days now and I tell that my rght knees feels really good now, my left knees, which is the worst one I can'y tell you yet if it's healing, I think it's still too early to know, maybe in a few weeks. The doctor said I should start to feel better between 2 to 6 weeks, so I'll let you posted.

  • @max10wonderboy it's fairly similar. If you have a decent immune system and have a good diet, then prp is good enough to heal the area. It's more expensive though. Prolotherapy inflames the area which attracts platelets to the area, as well as doing other things that more or less promote healing. PRP and Prolo both need a good immune system to work well, but usually PRP works better.

  • I;'ve had PRP done 3 times. It works !!!!

  • So, is prolotherapy and this similar, or is this a way better option??

  • WoW !!!
