Design and construction of Chesapeake Light Craft's "PocketShip," designed by John C. Harris. This is a 15-foot gaff-rigged sloop with accommodations for two. Build this boat from a kit or plans! PocketShip uses the stitch-and-glue method and has a keel-centerboard arrangement. Dimensions are 14'10" LOD, 6'2" beam, 16" draft (board up), sail area 148sqft, 800lbs w/o crew including 270lbs ballast.
