Fly fishing for rainbow trout in the Guadalupe River in New Braunfels, TX just below a place called Rio Raft. Caught on a red copper john. 17 in rainbow trout, took about 5 minutes to land. upon closer inspection, the fly hooked the fin of the trout. If you like the music, it's the Stereophonics' song Maybe Tomorrow.

*An update, i've been corrected. I actually had to walk down about 75 feet to land the trout.

  • @sofleye23 Thanks for you comments. Congrats on your catches yesterday. saw someone get a 24" trout this morning. The net is a Frabill net from Bass Pro for about $30. Cant beat the price compared to others around.

  • hey, what kind of net is that? That's excactly what im looking for. I went to that spot yesterday, by the way, and hooked 4 huge trout :)
