House-Autry shows you how to kick dinner up a notch with a Spicy Shrimp with Mango Salsa recipe. We will be coating our shrimp with House-Autry Medium Hot Breader, but if you like a little more kick, you can use House-Autry Spicy & Hot Breader. See more delicious recipes at www.house-autry.com. As seen on The Carolina Outdoor Journal.

Ingredients
1 cup House-Autry Medium Hot Breader
7 tbsp vegetable oil - divided
1 cup onion - chopped
2 tsp garlic - minced
1 tsp red chili flakes
1/2 cup fresh basil - chopped
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp fresh lime juice
2 tbsp flaked coconut
1 pound medium shrimp - peeled and deveined
2 cups cubed fresh mango (unripe or frozen)
4 servings brown or jasmine rice

Directions:
Heat 3 tbsp vegetable oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Sauté chopped onion until golden brown. Add minced garlic, red chili flakes, fresh basil, soy sauce and lime juice. Add mango and cook until warm. Remove from heat and sprinkle with coconut. Cover to keep warm.

Meanwhile, heat another skillet with 4 tbsp vegetable oil. Place 1 cup House-Autry Medium Hot Breader on a piece of waxed paper. Dredge shrimp in breader until well coated. When oil is hot, carefully add breaded shrimp and cook until shrimp turns opaque, 4-5 minutes.

Serve shrimp over steamed rice and top with mango mixture.
