Babies have funny words they smile to. My 4, almost from day 1,
smiled & giggled to the word: "WHISKER". I have no clue why.

we have a photo of our New grandaughter, in her 4d scan, and she is smiling on that, also sticking out her tongue, and sucking her fist......Wind inside the womb, I dont think so!!!! babies do smile, and what do we do.....Thump them on the back !!!!! would you smile after that !!!

The eyes were rolling back because the baby is in REM sleep. Babies make lots of faces when they dream. They even cry. Mine sticks his tongue out, cries, and smiles. Come up with an explanation for the tongue one... I stick my tongue out at him while he's awake.

what I dont get is doctors and midwives tell you when ur pregnant "ooo this week your baby can smile and frown".... so why wouldnt they be able to when they were born?? lol

I seen new born babies do this before when they had gas, not sure why they smile tho, THIS BABY IS ADORABLE! ^_^
