My 3-year-old son Max, who is Autistic, receives music therapy through blueballoon Health Services. He is paired with another little boy named Michaele who also Autistic and is the same age. The sessions are designed to address both of their goals, and also provide opportunities for them to be social and work on turn taking and group work. The sessions are lead by a Music Therapist and Speech Language Pathologist.
This is interesting. I know my preschool autistic students love music but I've never seen it used as therapy. I see Max is engaged so the results are immediate. Great.

I have been watching some of your videos and you are such a great mom!!! I know how hard it is sometimes with a child on the spectrum and you are just so patient...I really enjoyed seeing Max's therapy sessions. My daugher has PDD-NOS but very mild and they may change it to AS but she too is doing much better now that we have some services in place to teach us how to work with her. What is Max's diagnosis??? PM me if you have time.
