@azt3c u must go waaay back, because u will use ur torso weight then.In front u can go alot ,but also kkep ur lower back straight.Arnold was a master at cheating exercises, ina good way, plus he also overtrained from most ppl point of view.I use most his workouts and are effective.Ppl dont realise one exercise may be less effective on one or another simply because he has longer legs/arms..Go with Arnold
@RedWolf69 When you have your back "straight" it is slighetly curved if that is what you are refering to. If you are referng to him leaning slighetly forward between each pull then its about not loosing the arch in the back. Its ok to go forward slightly but you should not be lying on your legs (like many on the gym tend to do when doing this)
Lol a lot of muscles - rhomboids, erector spinae.. although activated they're muscles that contribute the least. Prime movers are lats dorsi, teres major, posterior deltiod and of course elbow flexors. If you're keen on hittin' up those muscles - good exercise.
Anyway, good advice with the arch.. same with a high beam chest. The two should always be done with squats/deadlifts - despite all the flat back techniques that only personal trainers seem to employ.

@azt3c i think it is because Arnold does a very heavy weight that might impossible to row without extending past 90 degree... just a thought. :)
