@kabogga What does it matter ? When it gets down to it what they are doing is more sensable I think . The song is good but the actuall dance is bloody stupid . And if it simply gets people up enjoying themselves [something I would never do] then it's mission accomplished .

I totally agree. The Hucklebuck was first done on the Honeymooners TV show when Art Carney did the real Hucklebuck!

That is NOT the Hucklebuck dance. Still, you have to forgive the kids for not knowing. They are more used to beating up old ladies in the street than knowing how to dance properly. The youth of today is twisted. :-(
