I have to say, the music ruins it for me. Way too operatic and over-the-top for a film this quiet and modest in scale. The original may be too action-heavy, but this one looks a lot more like an action flick than anything else.

This trailer makes the movie look even more action oriented than the original. Btw I saw the movie and I can ensure you that it was a pretty good adaptation.
