My first ATV QSO with my own equipment. KJ6RNL has officially arrived on the ham radio scene with a vengeance. I went from getting my license to beaming video all over God's green Earth in less than thirty days and making my first QSO in just a few more days than that! I am not the only one who took decades to make the leap to ham radio. But, I want to be making some serious progress in the next couple of months to be able to get the general class license and then try my hand at some HF CW. That would be Morse code on the shortwave bands for the uninitiated.
Great stuff Rich!!! :D It's all coming along very nicely!!! Now try and do a ATV transmission from one of your old working 60s/70s B&W or colour vidicon cameras, that would be really cool to see! ;)
