This was a great video; very helpful. I had difficulty actually connecting what he was saying to the little I knew about my devices but I am sooooo glad this video exists and that after less than 10 minutes I got everything connected/disconnected properly. Yay me! Thanks a million for existing for tech idiots such as myself! 8-)

@legomybutt How can you do that if you can't thumbs up on the YouTube app?
-
what if the keyboard doesn't show up? and do you need the ipad 2?
-
Awesomee! Now I can write my essay on my bed instead of sitting in front of my iMac! :DDDD lol sleepless nights, here I come!

Will this work on an iphone

Why remove the keyboard from the iMac? You just have to pair it again next time you want to use it. Save time and just turn off Bluetooth, especially since it was the only BT device on your list (so you didn't really need to keep it on).

Thanx!
YAY now you can use your ipad in the same fashion as your imac that is sitting 2 feet away.
Sorry, good video though, all this hype over a not-so-great device makes me bitter.

@Ervine4 It's not as bad as people are saying. If you mess around with it, you'll find it pretty neat. Now is it worth $500, no. It isn't. It should be around 300-350 at most. I understand everyone's complaints about it. I felt the same way when it was first announced. Yes, their is a ton of hype on it, which I think it doesn't deserve, but I've never done a bunch of videos on a brand new product, so this is all new to me. I think it's turning out alright though.

I'm trying to pair it with the older model and it tells me the number but goes away extremely quickly and tells me it can't pair it

@marceloyanez111pt2 Yeah that happens with me sometimes as well. Try pairing it with the computer again, then restart the iPad, then retry everything again. It worked for me the first time i did that.

Would you recommended this if you have a laptop and a iphone? i am thinking abount buying it but i don't know.

@AppReviewer I have a macbook and iPhone and i like it. It's nice to not carry a laptop and easier to read/ update things on the iPad than either the iPod touch or iPhone.
