  • I just talked to Phil Gray himself. He said this was the hot side, (side that the local radio station played). Gene Vincent's bass player played on this prior to joining Vincent's Blue Caps. I can email you a picture of Pepper Hot Baby if you like..:)

  • @rockabillydj WOw! You mean Jack Neal? thant's cool. I heard some, that lead guitar on this number is Russell Willaford, the guitarist who replaced Cliff Gallup in Blue Caps and who had been playing till J.Meeks joined the band. Willaford played a lot with Blue Caps, but never recorded with Gene. Anyway he can be seen in "The Girl Can't Help It". For a long time I thought that the blonde guitarist with a tele in this film is Cliff Gallup
