Louisville, KY Group. When the nationally known group The Newbeats, who had national hits with songs like "Bread & Butter" and "Everything's Alright", had a contract dispute with their lead singer Lawrence Henley; Michael Gibson of the Monarchs was asked to sing lead with the group. This single was cut using such local talent as Wayne Young and Marvin Maxwell of Soul, Inc. and Jim Owen of the Keyes. Because of a conflict over the rights of using the name "Newbeats", it was decided to release this one and only single using the name Snoopy and The Others. This record is from 1967.
