I 'hate' that mother.

@SylviaPenguin I could not agree more. They are afraid of being taken away from that person or even making that person feel bad, despite the fact they are doing things to hurt the child

@Lauren4047; I think it is just meant as an example of what "verbal abuse" is. We don't don't see everything said towards this girl, probably there is said and done a lot more than what you can show in a commercial. Sorry about your mother abusing you a lot verbally too, it is sad when parents needs to venture all their problems and anger upon their children, and blaming them for everything. I hope you will find a way to heal and getting much more stronger build up again soon. -God Bless-

@happycat2010; Also I beleive it is less easy when being one that is in their family. If it would have been a totally stranger, or one from class etc this might have been much easier for them to telling someone they trust about it. But being someone that the child probably still cares for deep inside, whilst it wounds them the way they are talked to and treated, it isn't just easy to stand up against that/or those person(s).

@quepinchedesmadre64 True, but it is easier said than done. People who are abused especially children are afraid to call for help. There are many reasons behind it.
