Actually, because I AM an actual historian, I know that the assertion that "pretty much every intellectual was anti-Semitic" is complete BS. If you are an "historian" you will know that pretty much every intelectual before WWII was anti-semite (anti-jew would be more exact), incl the most famous jewish intellectuals, just read Simone Weil. And I think, intellectual are much more able to grasp reality and describe it than historians, most of them write history to adorn who pay them. I'm pretty sure you believe there was 6 millions jews killed in the camps during WWII right ?
