I'm guessing that it wasn't a popping tire but instead a lower triple clamp snapping. The front forks of a modern sportbike are built to handle braking, corning and suspension forces. They are also made to be light enough to save weight for racing. They are NOT designed to repeatedly support the entire weight of the bike and rider at an angle roughly 30 to 40 degrees forward of the design load-bearing angle. Do that enough and they will snap. And so might your neck.

I am almost sure his tire popped if you listen close you can hear a pop before he flips ot
