Well, If bonding is indicated in your case, you can expect many years of use. There is no magic number. Insurance companies pay after five years. If you want the best looking longest lasting results consider porcelain veneers. Ultimately, your dentist needs to recommend what he(she) considers the most appropriate treatment for you. All porcelain crowns or veneers done well are extremely natural looking. Good luck.

Good video. Good point to show your work and to note that. I've asked more than one dentist to see a portfolio of their work, and have been told they can't find it, they can't show it do to privacy laws, etc. I don't want to have a dentist do cosmetic bonding work without seeing what they've done and how good they are, esp. when it involves a good degree of artistry.

Thank you for your comment. That is precisely the reason why I did this presentation.

@themouthman Hi Dr. Carlos - do you know if family dentists do this type of procedure? Also, is it billed as a filling or is it billed differently? Thank you!

Hi!
All bonding procedures are different and will have a procedure code associated with it.
Remember bonding is a technique, but people use it to name the work (a filling, a veneer, etc...)
The procedure code determines whether it is a filling or something else.
Thanks,
