  • 31.Nh7+ insttead of 31.Nxb8

  • Nicely done, warding off that attack.

  • that was very instructive!the doubled pawns were no weaknesses at all but gave black the possibility to attack the white king from the g file and the h pawn was poisoned because after it was taken the lines against the white king where opened...and then a pretty good defence from black which ended in a crushing counter-attack!!!!

  • That was a sick mate in 1 with the pawns on f4 and f5.

  • If 26. Rd7 fxg3 27. Rxb2 gxh2+ 28. Kh1 Rg2, white appears to have the resource of 29 Rb8+ and exchanging rooks on h8 (not g8) followed by Qe8+.

  • nice game. more volume please!

  • I also wanted to add that I believe that a lot of players "fold" when they face the kind of pressure that you did here, and always do, and that that's what keeps them "down" so to speak. A humble request also KC, if you could start putting the openings in the beginning again and maybe talk about what your main goal is is in each as things may change, would be great. I realize to play and talk at the same time is difficult, but maybe just a few seconds for each would be nice! UR the best!!!!!!

  • I find that my brain moves kind of back and forth between strategy and tactics/combinatory and positional thoughts, and then, hopefully between them both, I can forge a single idea towards a move that's as functional and as winning as possible. That's my goal.

  • As always, great game by KingsCrusher.

  • a queen for a knight and two pawns? that doesnt make much sense. Besides white can squash any counter play by playing Rook to b8 check and then taking the rook on g8
