In nature after the fish lay eggs and they are ferilized they all die. wasting away in the river and only a small fraction of the baby fish survive. with the hatchery the fish that are going to die anyways are put to use as food and more baby fish are given chance to live. get facts noobs

ITS A FARM ITS NOT NATURE! Vegetables are not allowed to grow where they may. Animals and plants are organized in a efficient manner for harvesting. Agriculture is a much better alternative to foraging for food.

The fish that are killed eventually becomes food for homeless people, thus balancing the need of society with the preservation of wildlife.
