I just couldn't resist uploading this one....I spotted this young girl doin' this awesome dance routine on a video some month and a half ago here on YT and just had to download it. The original music used on the video was Boots Randolph's "Yackety Sax" (Chet Atkins recorded it as "Yackety Axe"), but just for fun I pulled out a track right out of my huge tape library, just to see if it would work putting the two 'ingredients' together and it fitted so perfectly with her dance routine that I kept it! I didn't even have to do one edit on the entire video, which is even more amazing! Looks like she's dancing in perfect sync to the actual music (look at the ending, for instance..talk about perfect timing!!).
But I did one big goof....I forgot to write down the girl's YT pseudonym to be able to write her a message asking her if it would be alright for me to use this clip for a video. I've been busy like a beaver trying to find her on YT again (I don't even remember how I discovered her in the first
place, which makes it even harder to track her down!), but no matter how hard I've tried I havn't 'found her' again! So I'm simply gonna take a
chance here and upload this video and if anyone of you recognises her, PLEASE let me know so I can get in touch with her for an eventual
agreement to keep the video as is, with her YT pseudonym included.
The music used is of course my own 'somewhat' personal rendition of the old Johnny Burnette '50s rockabilly classic, "Tear It Up", cut in the..'70s, with some editing done in the '80s. So, put on your blue suedes and let the neighbors know that you're still alive, ha, ha....

  • Great.

And i really love the song.

But i think it's 'tear it up', and not rock it up. :).

    Rock On!!

  • @missstarbuck Yes, the correct title is certainly "Tear It Up" (Johnny Burnette & The Rock'n Roll Trio's first Rockabilly effort!), but for a special reason (guess what?!) I changed it! And it's such a different approach to it than the original version, so....

Other than that, thanks a lot for the nice comment!!!! Hank C...
