Indian Astrologers: Obama Will Be Successful

Astrologers from across India are meeting in Varanasi for an "All India Astrologers Meet." The number one prediction for this year was how well the new U.S. president will do in office.


STORY:
Astrologers delved and studied the stars to see how effective Barack Obama will be.

The general consensus was that it would be quite a successful term.

[Shatrughan Tripathi, Astrologer]:
"Obama's oath taking ceremony was conducted at an auspicious time. But there are even few things that will not be favorable for him. It is not that he would not be facing any difficulties during his journey due to some change in the planets. 2009 would turn out to be positive for Obama. He might come across some complexities and intricacies but he will definitely turn out to be successful to overcome it."

And some believe Obama will shine out among the U.S. presidents.

[Chandramowli Upadhyay, Astrologer]:
"No opposition can harm Obama in any way and he will turn out to be a successful president. Although he will come across many hardships and difficulties but he will prove himself to be a victorious president, administrator and leader and his name will be inscribed in the pages of history."

Barack Obama made history on Tuesday the 20th when he was inaugurated as the first black president of the United States of America.
