Canon Vixia HF-S 20 Quality Test (1080p-60fps)

Just a little test of my new Canon Vixia HF-S20 camcorder. I still need to tweak my settings a little bit to get the quality up there but all in all, im pretty happy with it! This is also going to be my primary camera for motocross, so expect some pretty cool stuff in the future!!!

@cheatskeet It can do 1080p or 1080i...It just depends on what framerate you want to record in.

@dylz777 yep if you go into settings you can turn the microphone attenuator on or off.

@DJSoundzHooDTV I mainly changed the framerate to 30p and the quality to max and it works pretty well!!

@cheatskeet Your correct it cant do 1080p, it can only output 1080p to a TV, It can record in 60i, PF30, PF24, and native 24p. I had this camcorder so I know the functions very well.

@jayamas100 Its all about Progressive and Interlaced settings, The 60i setting stands for interlaced, and the 30p setting stands for progressive (google the definitions). In theory, the 60 fps setting should be better and more responsive.  What i have noticed is in faster scenes like motocross, it seems like there is less distortion in the image, and it even looks better in a slow or stationary scene.
