bad orchestration...not in mood...not in style? why re orchestrate "this" piece??? I'm a harpist...I've played many times this amazing piece...and my quiestion is...If u have a harpist in the orchestra why did they eliminate so many essentials part played by the harp....???? did they know what ravel thinked about the harp.....?? and the harpist what does he play on 02:44...not delicate at all!!!

The violins aren't quite in tune...to agree with previous comments, the style of this arrangement is very different from the color and mood of Ravel's. Sorry, but it's really not as powerful as it could be. I mean, the arrangements has some interesting ideas but...yeah. Not very well orchestrated or executed in my opinion.

i dont know who orchestrated it but it didn't capture the mood and style at all.
and also really piercing nazel sound from the violins.

Thats actually what happens whne you record on a really bad camera/recorder dude, the violin probally sounded magnificent. I agree with you about the mood and style, but thoese things are tottaly up to interpretatin aynways :)
