  • This film is one that everyone will love. It is an inspirational film about a father who is willing to do anything for his family. I like how you called it a family film. This is a motivational film for all those who see it. Overall, this is a great review. I just saw an inspirational film called Discover the Gift. Have you heard of it? It is really good and I think you should do a review for it. bit. ly/lmjrmP

  • very well, i suppose we're done now, considering we seem to be having a hard time getting each other to understand the arguments we present.

i guess we'll just have to both walk away confused.

so, i suppose we agree to disagree? or something of the sort...

  • ... response not needed I think.

Baer was a boxer, not a ballerina, still not sure what you're trying to prove.

  • oh! shit. ur back. i thought we were done.

anyway, what do u mean "i rest my case"? yea, u listed some true facts there, but u list his jerk parts. and whether or not boxers talk dirty, that's not what was portrayed in the film. it may be just for show, but braddock took everything baer said to him seriously. and so did the entire audience. that was my point. also, u need remember that scene with him and the women, and him yelling.

come on, its not hard to see what they made the guy into.

  • And splitting hairs... but he was the "Pride of the Irish" before Ireland was a republic...

  • Yes... that the movie's portrayal of Baer was pretty accurate. And I think I rest my case...

Yes, there's web pages dedicated to Baer being a champ. Some guys love him and feel he was hard done by the movie. My message is to move on... if you think Baer was hard done by then make a movie about him.

  • im sorry, my internet "troll" instincts kicked in for a moment with that last comment i made.

although it is mostly ur fault. u did trigger it by acting like a sarcastic retard going on about tea and croquet; and also reiterating points that A: have already been made well known 4 years ago, when the damn movie came out. and B: have absolutely no bearing or point compared to the arguments ive already presented.

do u even remember what u were trying to argue?
