you can't hear any riffs probably because this is doom, therefore the music is usually incredibly slow - if that's the only reason you can't appreciate it then you have no case.

those artists i mentioned are in no way metal though, they are all death industrial and noise, which i feel better expresses that which most people would deem 'dark' or 'disturbing'.

hehehe well actually, i was just saying all that for fun. personally, i think cannibal corpse is a whole lot better than these Esoteric guys. there is no recognizable melodies or riffs in this song, or any of their other songs i looked up. however, i love music, and would like to expand my metal (and metal-esque) collection, so i am actually going to look into those bands you mentioned instead of trashing them. but if they suck, you better believe i'm comin back!!!
