Once kids and fatherhood are introduced as part of your lifestyle, snacks like juice boxes, crackers, granola bars, popsicles and more begin to make their appearance in your kitchen. Very good point Daddy Clay! We send our children to school with healthy snacks such as celery sticks and homemade granola. Now I understand that children need some sugar for energy so we may give them some dried banana chips, these do have some sugar on top. Oh and by the way I don't need snacks in between meals but if I am on the go I always have something to snack on when I am out and about. Just to let you know as well we are a non red meat eating family. So we substitute for this as well.
