another update to the Escalade build. As you might know by now, it is on Air Bags and needed the front shocks relocated and the rear needed to be replaced. I purchased Ridetech Titanium for all 4 corners. Check out their site at http://www.ridetech.com

In this video, you will see what they are and also the install process. This project is ALMOST done! Click here to see THOUSANDS of pictures of the journey it has taken from day one. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/10216-2002-caddy-8-fi-btl-18s-2-...

Just in case you didnt know what those amps in the back are, they are 2 Rockford Fosgate T15k Amplifiers. There is 8 Fi BTL 18's and all Rockford Fosgate Mids/highs. Windows PC 10.2" Touchscreen and more....basicly the works.

It is sitting on custom one-off, staggered 3 Piece Wheels by AZA ( http://www.azaforged.com ) wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero 295/25/26" Tires.

Upoholstery is by Sean Kat, Kat Kustom Interiors Sacramento. I did some of it myself, but the stitching was all Sean Kat.

Brakes by Wilwood: 16" Rotors 6 Piston calpers front , 14.5" 4 Piston Rear....
Paint of course by Roy Devore Roy@autobodyworkshop.com if you have any questions

  • Sweet paint color!

  • do i hear metallica

  • I wonder how the shocks made to be on an airbagged suspension (at the different load capacities of the different ride height settings) differ from, say, a bypass shock made for a long travel vehicle.. the technology behind the two, I am curious how it differs, or even more interesting, if it is the same but just scaled down..

  • Its a trip how small those things are, being an off-road Guy and dealing with the longer shocks. I know they handle just as.great, but its just a trip to see how much shorter they need to be for the suspension travel of a bagged full-size GM truck/suv vs. A long traveled truck/suv.. Cheers!!

  • that color is clean looks really good
