  • sweet uberti, do the cylinders bind up at all when shooting alot of powder through em? are they are for smokeless only? i heard black powder binds em up after a while. i was thinking of geting one and i reload myself.

  • @41maglover I have fired 500 rounds of smokeless ammo through the Uberti Schofield in a single day, and the last one went off just as easily as the 1st. However because the cylinder gap on the Uberti Scho is kinda tight I doubt you would get much from Bp Cartridges. However I use Bp in Uberti 1873 Clones with no problems, You can shoot em till the gun is so hot you cant even grip it without being burned. Check my other vids you will see. Hope this helps

  • @murpheysmuskets 500 in a day! that anwsers my question. do you reload yourself and do you have any special loads for it. I have a few cimarrons 1871-72 open tops which are very accurate so i cant wait to get the scho. do you know if there is a diff between cim and uberti's schofield.

  • @41maglover I definitely reload :) I typically shoot a 200gr bullet with 6.0-6.1gr of Trailboss through my revolvers. Cimmeron is a company out of Texas that is a Uberti distributor. They take a Uberti gun, Slap a few stamps on it and raise the price, and that's about it. Its all Uberti. Same thing with Navy Arms and Taylors BTW.

  • How long is the barrel on your Schofield, 5"?

  • any hiccups with it yet? i know you have put a decent number of rounds through that thing.

  • I read somewhere on a CAS site that if you grease the cylinder pin on a uberti schofield with this special goo stuff (wish I remembered what it was called) it will cycle blackpowder fairly decently. I think the stuff is from Black Hills or Buffalo Bore? One of those. I also read that shooting .44-40 out of the repro schofields is cleaner than .45LC because the tolerances are a little more generous.

  • Y did u skip a cylinder

  • just picked up a cimarron 5 inch for $800 and is by far the most accurate gun in my hands that i own as well. the design is perfect for single hand shooting and the only gun that comes close is my hybrid 1851-1872 only cause the sights are ajustable.

  • he looks like Dwight heehee

  • You Are a motha fuckin Gee!!
