Here is the final possession of the game where the knicks play great defense in not allowing Miller to get the ball to possibly tie the game. Mark Jackson ended up taking the last shot but his toe was just on the line and it was an airball. Even had he made the shot, it would have only been a 2-pointer anyway. The knicks won game 1 93-90. The knicks take a 1-0 lead in the best of 7 series. It was a hard fought victory for the Knicks as they managed to win in spite of giving up 50 second-half points.

Too bad Ewing got injured, had he played in finals the knicks would have given Spurs run for their money

The knicks definitely would have won game 5 of the finals (where they lost by 1 point) had Ewing been healthy. It would certainly have gone 6 games.

You realize NBC assigned Walton to the Pacers and Jones to the Knicks for this series, right? NBC always did that when they used a 3-man announce team.
