The Grand Final. Chaos 2 v Lightning. Two 1/10th scale radio control micro car robots fight it out. This was a long fight with a sudden and unusual ending.
These two machines have met in real life at a live event, and Chaos 2 flipped Lightning four times. Both were still running at the end though, and Lightning could self-right ok but just couldn't get a flip on Chaos 2, as it would just drive over the top before the flipper reached. Search 'Manningtree Robot Wars' here to see. So would this model fight result in a different outcome? None of these fights were staged.
This was edited using Adobe Premiere. Computer graphics (CG) effects made using Particle Illusion. EJay music software to make the music. Adobe Photoshop used to create the paper robots.

Actually this is what happened but the cameraman missed the pit action first time around, so we had to do it again.
Anyway we were team Lightning for real in the real RW, so it is probably best we didn't win, or people would definately say it was staged. But none of the fights were. The results were all as they happened.
Ok, I was only going by the fact that Lightning was about 5cm away from the round mark on the arena floor before the camera changed, and when it DID change, it was in a totally different position.
My bad, shouldn't have accused without knowing the full story :)
No worries. I can see how it looked that way. We did the best we could. There are a few cuts in these episodes where we had to stop and re-film. We need ten cameras really.
