BL died from an abnormal reaction in the brain from eating cannabis (making cookies etc) he was stressed & overworked & found cannabis calmed him down. He had a reaction some mnths b4 he died when he blacked out from the same thing but he prob thought (like most young people) that it was far from his time to leave this world so kept doing it. No1 wanted to admit he died because of this as he was a great hero 2 many. Alot of Asian people have hypersensitivity to the active ingredient in cannabis.

@vandumbass Yeah, you're right about that. BL wasn't issued 'a certificate'. But could it be because issuing certificates wasn't a practice with old timers? Martial art was handed down mostly and taught informally so you can't make the argument that because BL didn't receive a certificate that it makes him a fake. I'm not making the claim that I know more, or knew him like you, but basing from various footage showing him 'playing hands' with other wing chun practitioners I'd say he was good.

I don't get your reply. You sound contradictory. Yes, he was an actor but most martial artist of the time will tell you of his personal abilities and capability. You suggesting others were misquoted or lied about BL's unique art? BL...limited knowledge...'was great' makes no sense to me. It's just my opinion, but I'll also say I doubt you knew him, too. You sound like a 20-something...ignorant and still wet behind the ears.

you know this is kinda fake lyin ass videos made others, this was hkg tv show and we know it, BL was nothing in martial arts he was an actor who used martial arts and his limited knowledge to gain his fame, he had one big game and that was... while in usa he talked about chinese wing chun -kung fu and dissed karate and rest of the MA .but while he was in hongkong he only talked and did this show ur seein about karate and never kung fu, lol. he was a smart con artist.,..i knew BL ,,he was great
