I believe the bridge is the Oregon Inlet bridge. This is actually a pretty dangerous area to be kayaking in due to the fact the oregon inlet fishing fleet goes thru there. The channel is very deep it goes from like one foot to fifty and if the tides is outgoing can spell trouble. cool video though

that looks like so much fun, Urgo! I'll go kayaking with you anytime! When you visit us in New Hampshire, there's a lotta lakes and ponds to go play in. :)

Yep, you missed the beginning and the four map slides inserted in the middle :)
-
Never mind...I missed the beginning where you say it was NC. LOL!

Wait, wasn't that the Ponquogue bridge??

Damn you Nalts, stop stealing our video ideas! And then using your hot wife to attract more views!
I always wanted to do that and also white water rafting....maybe when I retire.

Yeah white water rafting would be fun. It's on my list with skydiving for things to do... hopefully before I retire though.

Well, it wasn't exactly the 'open' water. Look at the map at 0:35 :) We were on the sound, though a very big sound it was. What defines open water exactly anyway?
Edit: Per "define: open water" on google, I guess this would qualify with at least one definition... so never mind :) The open water IS fun! =]
